Paramount's Debris Containment Solution Is Just That, A Solution

When dirt, sand, leaves, and debris fall into your swimming pool, they usually end up sinking to the bottom. The Paramount Debris Containment Canister provides a convenient place to collect debris for easy removal, right from the deck of the pool! With a capacity 400% larger than your average pump basket, you can dispose of the contained debris easier and less often.

Conventional pools accumulate debris quickly. Pools equipped with the Paramount Canister are cleaner pools with debris held out of sight and ready for easy disposal. The Paramount Canister connects to the suction side of the pump, using the power of the pump without robbing performance and allowing your pool builder to install a smaller, more economical pump.

Three Levels of Cleaning

(1. Automatic) In-Floor Pool Cleaners

The Paramount Canister Is Designed To Be Installed With Paramount In-Floor Cleaning Systems. This Combination Ensures Automated And Complete Hands Off Method Of Cleaning Your Pool. The Paramount Canister allows the pool’s skimmer to operate at maximum efficiency. Debris is blown toward the active main drain and quickly deposited in the Canister. A Paramount In-Floor Cleaning System installed with the Paramount Canister, ensures your pool will remain clean, allowing you and your family to spend your time enjoying your pool, not cleaning it.

(2. Suction) Pool Cleaners

Although no robotic cleaner is as effective as Paramount’s In-Floor Cleaning System, the Paramount Canister can be installed in conjunction with a suction-type pool cleaner to enhance it’s performance. By using the Paramount Canister you can avoid using small, easily plugged in-line leaf catching devices that must be emptied frequently to keep the vacuum working with the Canister. With the Paramount Canister all you have to do is open the deck lid, turn and lift the handle, pull out and empty the convenient bag. The Paramount Canister also enables the skimmer to work at peak efficiency, because it is not plumbed to the suction cleaner.

(3. Manual) Pool Vacuuming

Manual pool vacuuming with a Paramount Canister is done by moving a hand held vacuum around the pool to collect debris and send it directly to the Paramount Canister. The use of the Paramount Canister with a pool vacuum will allow you to vacuum up debris before it reaches the pool pump and filtration system. The Canister also eliminates overloading the small pool pump basket, restricting water flow to the pump, and damaging the pool filtration pump. With the Paramount Canister you don’t waste time stopping to clean out a small pool pump basket.
